Christopher Miller

Christopher C. Miller, Ph.D., professor at Judson University near Chicago, lectures, consults, and facilitates student research in sustainable buildings, places, and communities.  Often, but not often enough, he leads students in field studies of exemplary walkable cities.

Student research has focused on building community from shared architectural language, on designing streets that are safe and prosperous with inclusive housing, and on beauty in places that are just.

Miller has supported student regenerative urban projects in Saranda, Albania; Fez, Morocco; Chelsea Barracks, London; Lochgelly, Scotland;  the Bayash communities in Croatia;  chapels in Morombe, Madagascar, and for the Villa Jericho in Honduras.
