Christy is everything she never imagined being: a full time stay-at-home-mom and homeschooler, which she describes as the “best and hardest job” she’s ever had. Prior to becoming a foster, and later adoptive, parent, Christy’s squiggly career path including acting, public relations, writing, podcasting, and teaching English. Originally from Michigan, Christy grew up in Virginia and then lived in NYC for twelve years before relocating to Seattle in 2011. She is an elder and music director at Mt. View Presbyterian Church in White Center. She and her husband, Karl, have three children and a fluctuating number of foster children. As a family, the Krispins are passionate about hospitality and justice for all.
