Dan White Jr co-leads a faith-community in the urban neighborhoods of Syracuse, NY. After being a full-time pastor for 15 years, his family along with 4 other families moved into the city to start a discipleship-centered, mission-oriented, community-shaped, neighborhood-rooted approach to being the church.
Dan Jr. works as a consultant and coach with the V3 Movement. V3 starts and sustains Missional-Incarnational Communities throughout the country. He also co-founded the Praxis Gathering. Praxis is an annual gathering of 200+ on-the-ground Missional practitioners who are living innovative and incarnational ways of being the church.
Dan is the author of Subterranean: Why the Future of the Church is Rootedness. (Cascade Books, 2015), voted Leadership Journal’s Top Ten Ministry Books of the Year for 2015, a ministry of Christianity Today. He co-authored a new project The Church as Movement with JR Woodward, releasing in August 2016.
Dan loves Salt City Coffee in Syracuse, a good conversation and a slow walk in his neighborhood.
