Gus Labayen is a Catholic Worker in Tacoma. He shares his time engaging young adults in peaceful activism and artistic expression through the Justice Café and artist circles.
Gus has spent most of his life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest has traveled most of the United States and portions of Asia. While attending Central Washington University for Music, his interest in cycling and Religion pushed him to compete collegiately and pursue the religious life, respectively. He entered the Benedictine Abbey of St. Martin and spent his formation as a Postulant.
In his free time he bikepacks, rock climbs, and shares soup and tea culture.
